Smart Buildings The Wave of the Present

You can’t have a smart city without smart buildings. Until recently, most people thought of smart buildings as simply having an infrastructure behind the scenes that enabled operations personnel to manage the environmental functions, lock the doors, monitor the security cameras, and respond to fires alarms. Now however, communications technology is being used to directly improve the quality of life of the residents.
